Throughout the Bible and particularly in the Book of Job, righteous people who follow God's covenant are brutally punished by God and endure lives full of suffering. Our website addresses the problem of Theodicy which is God allowing the existence of evil in the world. This brings up a multitude of questions about God's justifications, individual's level of sin, and how these aspects shape our faith in God. Theodicy is the prevalent theme in the Book of Job and can be interpreted through many lenses, particularly the Jewish, Catholic, and Midwestern Baptist's perspectives. These perspectives can be compared and contrasted to conclude that suffering is beyond human understanding.
